Mission of Biocomicals

Biocomicals is a web site full of cartoons (updated weekly) about science and medicine. Our motivation to create Biocomicals is to bridge the gap between science and fun. We do this by using our special and top secret 'fun extractor' glasses which allow us to see the humorous side of science and medicine.

Creators of Biocomicals

Alper Uzun Co-Founder, Arts & Products
Alper Uzun is pursuing a Ph.D in computational molecular biology and bioinformatics at Northeastern University. Besides being a cartoonist at Biocomicals, he is an artistic web-design consultant and a product developer.

Murat Erdem Co-Founder, Technology & Tools
Murat Erdem has a Ph.D in computer science from Boston University. He is responsible for technology developments and creating new tools at Biocomicals in addition to being a technical expert in Biocomicals' web design.
